About
Tylie is a London-based Screenwriter whose atmospheric dramas and mysteries examine relationship dynamics and societal norms, particularly around women. She is passionate about complex characters grappling enemies within. Having lived in five countries, she brings a worldview to her stories, often addressing misfits and outsiders and themes that speak to a global audience.
Prior to focusing on writing, Tylie honed her storytelling craft working with some of the world's leading filmmakers (Ang Lee, Kathleen Kennedy, Lauren Shuler-Donner, Mike Newell), creating some of the most successful films of our times: Star Wars, Gravity, X-Men and others.
She has written, produced and directed documentary features and series for Amazon Studios, Lucasfilm and Disney, short films and music videos, and advertising for leading global brands. Her feature-length documentary, “The Director and The Jedi”, which premiered at SXSW, was hailed “the best behind-the-scenes documentary ever made” by Collider.
Tylie has a Masters in Screenwriting and her original scripts have placed in International Script competitions such as BlueCat, PAGE Awards and Shore Scripts.

Tylie is currently developing a number of feature film scripts that are dark, atmospheric and female led.
